Can I reschedule my moving day, is there a fee for this?

If your moving date has changed then please let us know as soon as possible. In most cases we will be able to accommodate your new moving date. If you need to cancel your booking before your scheduled day, please call the office on 0121 244 0024 to discuss how we can help.

Is my move insured against any damages?

Yes we provide Goods in Transit insurance, to protect against any damages for added peace of mind during your house move. If the value of goods is higher and you would like to increase that amount, then simply let us know and we can arrange that for you.

Are there are items which you can't move

  • Animals
  • Flammables
  • Perishable Goods
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Drugs
  • Fireams
  • Explosives
  • Precious Documents & Manuscripts

We will also be unable to move extremely heavy items or items, that may endanger our removal men or the public. If you think you have any such items, then please let us know so we can check

What if something has been damaged during the move?

Whilst we do our utmost to ensure your furniture and belongs are transported safely, however on occasions things can go wrong. If you find that something has been damaged during the your move, please inform us in writing. This is required by our insurers.

Our Damage Process is below:

  1. Please notify and send pictures of damage. Please let us know at your earliest convenience.
  2. We will then investigate to resolve as speedily as possible.
  3. If it can be repaired economically, we will arrange for repair.
  4. If it cannot be repaired then we will forward to our insurers for referral.
What happens if my house move takes longer than expected?

Please remember that our quote is based on the information that you provide on the day of assessment and access information that you have provided. If there are only a few items more, then it will not be a problem in most cases.

Will you unload my items into specific rooms?

Yes, simply let us know on the moving day and we will ensure any boxes and furniture are unloaded into the rooms you specify. This will make settling into your new home that much easier.

Can you Supply me with packing materials for my house move?

Absolutely, we can provide  packing materials, such as

  • Boxes, Paper
  • Fragile Labels,¬† Room Labels, Plain Labels
  • Tape
  • Hanging Wardrobe Cartons (arrive on the day of moving)
  • Floor Coverings
  • Mattress Protectors (Non Returnable)
  • Quilted Sofa Protectors
Do I need to save a parking space for your removal vans?

Parking as close to your property is really important because if a space isn’t available for adequate parking then this will impact the time and effort to complete your move. We normally require 2 to 3 car parking spaces for each of our removal vehicles. If you do not have a driveway then we highly recommend booking a parking suspension with your local council, then you can try to reserve a big enough space the night before putting out bins, or parking your own car.
